I dont understand the two TC tune options  RSS feed

Please explain the difference (cost is higher for one) between your two TC Tune options for purchase.

Cheaper one is unhook your TCM, send to GDE, don't drive your Jeep while it is gone, get it back, reinstall.

More expensive is GDE sends you a TCM already flashed. You remove your TCM, install new TCM, send back old TCM to GDE. They refund your core charge of $200, therefore making the cost the same. Both are $300 dollars, but one has no downtime.

In the end it is a wash, just the core deposit to ensure we get the stock TCM back for the next customer. The TCMs are not tied to the vehicle with VIN or any sort of security.

And in the end you save fuel, and get as close to a standard as you are going to get, due to the way it locks up up the drive line at low speeds.
