forgive me, im sure you've addresed this before. I have a 2014 ram ecodiesel, I've been reading about your tune on the ed forum and am considering purchase. a couple of concerns, I saw posted here that you stated your tune will pass any emissions test so I take it that there's no way for anyone to detect the the EGR is disabled? My second concern would be that I spent a lot of money on extended warranty, If there is some type of cel that comes up way down the road is there a chance of detection of your modification or a chance that the new flash may be wiped out. I do my own basic maintenance but when I do need to go to the dealer for some type of service dont they (plug in) and check for updates and what not. Would hate to spend 8 hundred bucks on your mod and have it wiped out.

The only way for someone to detect the tune is to start digging into why the EGR does not work but does not set a MIL. The state "emissions tests" are just checking for the presence of codes along with readiness status information that the ECU has to broadcast regarding various systems' presence and status of operation.

All our tunes broadcast the OEM part number and cal ID which is used by the dealer network for detecting the level of flash in a vehicle.
If for someone reason the tune gets overwritten (and that's an IF the dealer tool can overwrite it) there is a nominal fee ($100) to cover our setup time for reflashing the ECU.

Hey Keith,
Haven't checked in for quite a while. Does this mean you have a tune for the 2014 GC Diesel? I still have my 06 Liberty (220,000 miles) but recently added the GC to the fleet. I'm extremely happy with it, but if you can make it even better, that's the bomb! Tell me what you have and what it does.
Thanks,
Billy

Billy,

The WK2 HOT tune is essentially the same as the Ram eco diesel tune, just a few differences for vehicle changes and software. It works very well.
