I've been reading up on the hot tune and will be ordering this shortly. I understand there is little reason outside of exhaust sound to remove those components but did not see any posts about aftermarket intakes- will we see additional benefits going to a less restrictive intake with the hot tune or will it just be a cosmetic change with some more turbo sound with the silencer removed?

i have about 1k miles on my 2016 outdoorsman eco and have averaged 26 mpg so far, loving the truck.

I too have the same interest. Any information would be great.

We have several customers running various after-market intakes and none of them improve fuel economy or performance. They primarily seem to be just making more intake noise.
