About 6 months ago I brought my Ram 1500 ecodiesel in (2014) for an oil change. Dealer told me that there were a few updates/recalls. One of these was steering wiring, and the other had to do with catalytic converter. Ever since then my MPG has gone from 24 to 21 on average. Is it possible that this catalytic converter modification was related to VW's cheating scandal? Is it possible that Fiat/Chrysler discovered a similar cheat on their vehicles and this was a preemptive fix to the cheat and that's why my gas mileage has suffered. Has this happend to anyone else? Anyway hope I don't end up in the back of a van and never seen again for sending this out!

I have a brand new 2016 that ran like a race horse. At 1024 miles I took it in for a warranty on the roof weld trim strip and they had some "updates" that it needed and I lost 15 to 20% power and it is now not the truck that I bought.

I figured the same thing. Either smog cheating, or the fact that I bought the extended warranty.

I am getting no help from RAM nor do I expect to. Cancelled the extended warranty and got my money back, and I am now looking at my "options".
