I am Trying to save up, to purchase a tune. I am looking for as much mileage as possible out of my libby. I am wondering if it is possible to pruchase the eco-tune without the torque limitations. I know that my stock convertor will not live a long life behind it, but I when it goes out I will replace it with the euro convertor or the suncoast( not sure which one is better yet). thanks for the great work for us!

The ECO tune protects the torque converter in lock-up. If you want the maximum power/torque the HOT tune is what you would need to order. If you tow a trailer the shudder will be very prevalent.

We will be installing the new Chrysler torque converter later this week and start performing testing with it next week. We will post our comments in a couple weeks and make sure it does not shudder.

I would like the maximum fuel economy of the eco-tune, I do not want to protect the converter. I just want the the torque I have, there when it is lock-up. Truely I am not even looking for more power. I just want all that I already have. I tow 5% of the time and 95% is normal driving myself or the family around. I just need max fuel economy and my torque usable in lock-up.

The no limit Eco Tune is available upon request as a free option. We would just like to record the vehicle's torque converter information and discuss after-market TC options as a long term solution. This option is the most fuel efficient tune available for the KJ in the NA market and the torque is plenty sufficient for towing in grade situations. It also maintains a virtually smoke free exhaust in all conditions. Just ask for the "Full torque ECO tune"!

How is the 'no limit eco' tune different from the hot tune?
