I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm considering the GDE tune. I'm still running on 5w 30w. Also I recently read that Chrysler must recall all eco diesels and bring them up to current emission standard as part of their settlement agreement. If I have the GDE tune installed now and later my jeep is reprogrammed for the 40w oil and the emission changes, will this effect the gde tune? Would it be wise to have the program changes from the dealer installed before sending my ecu for the GED tune? Do you need to know what weight oil the vehicle is running?
thanks ed

The GDE tune is sold with the latest FCA release. If the dealer were to overwrite the GDE tune, we charge $50 to reinstall.
