Just got my 05 Liberty CRD tuned. Met with Kieth from GDE at a local mall. Kieth installed the tune in the parking lot and we took her for a spin. Wow! What a completely different truck. Starting was easier , and pulling away from a dead stop was much smoother. No lag noticed , just nice and linear. Power is surely there if you need it. Much more than stock and this was with the ecotune. I'm sure the hot tune would be fun , but with my stock torque converter I was limited to the eco.
I can't say enough about how much more smooth the truck is to drive. Turbo lag is almost nonexistent. Like someone else said this is the way Mopar should have done it in the first place. Guess were just lucky to have Kieth and the gang at GDE to correct Chryslers mistakes.
Overall, if your on the fence about the tune, I would not hesitate to go for it. You will not be disappointed in the overall improved driveability of the truck. It just makes it that much more enjoyable to drive.
Oh, Kieth brought the prototype Libby with the new turbo kit and euro converter installed. He even let me drive it! Boy's save your money , 'cause this is one kit your going to want in a bad way. Great power and smoothness all rolled into one package. Definetly a lot of fun !!!
Thanks Kieth for tuning the Jeep. I can't wait for you to work your majic on the trans controller. Firmer shifts and different shift schedules along with commanded lockup of the converter would be a welcomed addition to the eco or hot tune. GDE keep up the great work!!

Driving my Freightliner today, now that is what I can compare the CRD to. The FL is a standard transmission, the CRD now has the same firmness in the drive line.
