If you are located close, we can tune it in house. We are still working on the delivery tool for this application and running into a few stumbling blocks.

I own a 2016 colorado and also run an IT solutions company. I solve tech problems for a living. If I can be of any assistance, feel free to message me direct. I am willing to donate my time as learning and contributing to the tuning process for this truck would be fun for me.

Any performance data to share? I am sure there are many like me who wouldn't mind dropping off the truck for a few hours so you can flash in house.

We will get a GM section on this forum in a couple weeks. The last dyno runs were about 40hp and 60 ftlb of torque over factory per my memory.

RE: "Our other system lets us changes thousands more maps in the software vs. EFI Live. EFI is a very rudimentary tuning tool and I find it does not offer much in terms of allowing a well balanced tune to be developed. It just does not have many mapped addresses, so you cant change the most important items."

How did you overcome these limitations with the EFI tuner, if that is the tuner you will be ultimately be going with?

Thanks,

-Will

We have been working with EFIlive to allow cax files to be used on this application and then we were able to address new maps into this file.

Holy Cow its out...

I don't suppose you could put up a better picture of the performance data (or one that's not so fuzzy) if you find a minute in you busy schedule.
I'm sure we'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

I do have one question.
According to Duramax tuner (not that I trust them) their stage 3 tune Sport Economy Tune (+45HP / 60Ft-Lbs) is similar to yours. but they say
"A very fun tune that is reccomended for daily driving use in unloaded scenarios. This tune has a little bit too much mustard for extended high output pulls such as those you'd encounter while towing. "

will I encounter any issues towing with your tune?
I tow cross country and through the Rockies and I really don't want any engine or transmission problems while in the mountains.
Is there a reason they say you shouldn't tow with that much power?

Thanks
