I am new to the Liberty CRD. I actually just bought one and haven't even got to pick it up yet...I have an 04.5 cummins though so I am not completely diesel dumb...

I have been doing some reading here and also on LOSTJeeps and see a lot of talk about the ECO tune, which I will probably get, but also a lot of talk on an EHM mod or CCV mod where you run a hose to the ground to avoid getting oil in your intake. Do the GDE ECO tunes eliminate having to do this or is it still a good idea to do this modificiation for longevity and overall health of motor and mpg?

Thanks, and sorry if this isn't the right place for the question.
