I have a Jeep Cherokee (Liberty) 2005 2.8 CRD Limited. I had a problem with the vehicle going into limp mode on hard acceleration. I had it tested on a meter which showed P0105 - a turbo boost pressure fault. I cleaned the MAP sensor (I take it that this is the same thing as the TBPS) which was really clogged up and also cleaned the MAF sensor which looked quite clean. It seemed OK for a short time but then it started losing power again, sometimes when throttling back after acceleration. I know it could be a faulty MAP, but could it also be the sensor on the exhaust side? Any ideas that may save me paying out for a mortgage on a new MAP?

One more thing I have read that you shouldn't clean an EGR valve (which I think could be a possible reason for my fault code) is cleaning a good or bad thing and what should I not do. Thanks in advance.
