Diesel owners are wary about shutting down their truck when components of the drivetrain are overheated.

Would you mind detailing when and which drivetrain components need cooling down before shutting down the Ram 1500? For instance I don't always complete the active regeneration cycle. Sometimes I run the truck until the DPF is at 60% or less and then idle until the regen message is not displayed. Also I rarely tow but would the turbo need a cool down period after extended highway miles?

The description of your tune suggests that at times the cooling fan is programmed to run after shutdown. When would this happen?
