Ok, thank you!
Your tune is the first mod I want to apply to my recently acquired 2014 Ram EcoDiesel, but I've been reading about catastrophic failure in this motor due to slipping cam gears. I read the below phrase quoted on a different forum which made me want to check and see if you had any rebuttal to the claim that a tune would put the engine at greater risk.

I really like that your tune is focused on prioritizing longevity and efficiency over power (if I understand correctly?). Thank you for offering this.

"Hello these ecos have had a problem with the cam gears slipping we have come up with a way to lock them so that there is no way for them to slip with you having tuning on yours I would say you have a higher risk than a stock engine we are also in the process of building a remote oil cooler for these engine as they have been failing as well the cam fix is $1,933.30 with tax the remote cooler kits when available will be between $500-$600."

I have heard nothing but great things about your product for the Ram 1500 Diesel, so I am heavily considering it. I live in California though, so I need to make sure that the truck will still pass our biannual emissions test. We bought my wife a 2013 Passat TDI new and have had to smog it, so gone are the days when Diesels do not need to be sniff tested (would love to see what you guys could do for it!). I have read in other places (see link below) that I wouldn't have trouble passing an emissions test, but 'm not sure I can trust that unless I hear it from the source. Can someone here confirm that passing smog will certainly not be an issue?

Thank you for any and all help!
