Has anyone here run the hot tune with a suncoast TC? I am thinking about switching from an inmotion StageII to a GDE, but I don't want to kill my TC. I am already experiencing occasional shudder with the Inmotion and Suncaost combo during lockup @ 1800-1900 rpm going up steep hills. I have the upgrade transmission pump and just had the transmission overhauled and transgo shift kit installed to help with this shudder (it did help, but did not eliminate). Other than fuel economy I was wondering what other benefits I would see changing from inmotion to GDE?

Well, after getting the Libby LTD Hot tuned, I was getting shudder with the additive, so I added a second tube and pulls some grades at about 53 MPH and 1700RPM, I am pretty sure it the TC was locked, it seemed the second tube solved the problem. Just like Keith said, some of the TCs are better then the other. My Hot tuned Libby Sport has one tube in it, and never made a shudder since.
