So I've been having an issue with my jeep for a little while now and I'm having trouble pin pointing what exactly is going on and what could cause it. The KJ currently has the ECO tune on it, has the weeks elbow with the EGR system completely removed, Samco hoses, and an intake fuel pump. While going up a hill, typically on the highway, it will trigger a code for overboost (P0234) and an EGR code. One symptom I notice most often with this code is the jeep will start to loose power, as if the VGT vanes have started to dial back the boost. Once I crest the hill I will start to get power back. I'm thinking if there was a way I could log the engine and see what exactly its doing I might be able to pinpoint where the issue is starting. What are your recommendations?

Things I've replaced in the process of eliminating these issues:

Map sensor
Vacuum Solenoid
Vacuum modulator
